Rumor-mongers have it saying that sexy siren Nayantara had rejected the offer of playing Silk Smitha's role in the Tamil version of "The Dirty Picture". It is well known that Bollywood film "The Dirty Picture", starring Vidya Balan, was based on the life of late southern bombshell Silk Smitha. With the Bollywood version being a super hit, this bug has bitten the southern filmmakers too to make the film.
According to reports, filmmakers have approached glam diva Nayantara to reprise the role of Vidya Balan. The makers are also offered a bomb for this glamorous role but the Malayalam beauty quietly turned down the offers. Apparently, Nayan told the makers that how she can play the role of a 'Silk Smitha' after enacting 'Sita'.
Remember, Nayan made her comeback recently to tinsel town and she has become quite choosy in her roles, particularly after the mythological film "Sri Rama Rajyam", in which she played the role of Sita. Notwithstanding her qualms, several producers are still making beeline for her call sheets and coming up with various attractive proposals.
Sana Khan is donning the role of Silk Smitha in Malayalam while Veena Malik is essaying the same role in Kannada. So who'll be the 'Silk Smitha' for the Tamil and Telugu version? Well, we have to wait for some more time!
