Can Mahesh keep the No.1 spot in Tollywood ??

‘Stardom’ is something you achieve in years and grab the crown such that a couple of flops will not pull away the ‘aura’ from you. But, Mahesh is the top-hero all of a sudden, thanks to Dookudu and Businessman. Without any thought, one can easily say Superstar Rajnikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachan are such ‘emperors’ of their respective film circuits.

One easily says that Mahesh Babu is the undoubted number one at present of Telugu industry with no competitors in the reach. But, is his position such solid that no jerk can destabilize it is the question!

Analysts says "If two bad-films like ‘Athidi’ and ‘Sainikudu’ fall in his path, no doubt he has to take a back seat as he is frontrunner only because of two flicks." Else, if Jr.NTR or Ramcharan scores some back to back whopping commercial hits, then the throne will be gone. Looks like Mahesh should give a series of hits to prove that he is really worth calling a ‘No.1 Tollywood Hero’ irrespective of his brand endorsements and opinion-poll wins. What is your say folks?

Dhammu audio release is on March 29th

A1 Star NTR and 'Mass Masala' director Boyapati Srinu's upcoming high voltage entertainer 'Dhammu' shooting is fast wrapping up. Except one song, the movie is almost completed. The song shooting will begin from 26th of this month.A Huge set is being erected for this purpose. The audio of the movie will hit stores on 29th of this month.The makers are planning to release the movie on April 27th.

Trisha and 'Rangam' fame Karthika will be seen as the love interests of NTR in this film and Boyapati Sreenu is the director. Alexander Vallabha is the producer of this movie and K.S.Rama Rao is presenting the movie on Creative Commercials Banner. MM Keeravani is rendering music.

Aamir praises Vidya without knowing her Kahani

Vidya Balan's charm and enduring performance seems to have impressed 'perfectionist' Aamir Khan. The actor has expressed his desire to work with the national award winning actress.

Vidya's dream run began with R Balki's Paa (2009) alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Vishal Bharadwaj's Ishqiya(2010) opposite Nasseruddin Shah, Raj Kumar Gupta's No One Killed Jessica (2011) alongside Rani Mukherjee, Milan Luthria's The Dirty Picture (2011) and Sujosh Ghosh's Kahaani (2012) has solidified her position in the industry.

Now Vidya Balan is being compared with Aamir for her perfectionist style. So much so that she is dubbed by some in the industry as a 'Female Aamir Khan'. But what does Aamir think of her?

"I think we must call Vidya by her name only and who am I for her to be getting my name? She is very talented and a wonderful actress. I would love to work with her," Aamir said.

Though Aamir has not seen Vidya's recent movie, but he is all praise for the 34-year-old actress.

"I haven't seen Kahaani yet but I have heard very good things about it, people have appreciated and liked the film a lot. Even about Vidyaji I have heard good things. People have appreciated and liked her recent films. I congratulate her," he said. 

Pungi of Agent Vinod is a copy of Iranian Song??

Just as the song Pungi Bajaa Kar from Saif Ali Khan's spy thriller Agent Vinod is gaining popularity, an Iranian music band has slapped a legal notice on music director Pritam Chakraborty and distributors for alleged copyright violation.

The music band Barobax Corp was founded in 2003 by three Iranian nationals Kashayar Haghgoo, Kevian Haghgoo and Hamid Farouzmand.

According to the legal notice issued by law firm Vidhii Partners, Barobax had on January 16, 2010 produced and released an album titled Soosan Khanoom which became a rage.

"On March 12 this year, the band came across the promotions of the movie Agent Vinod on satellite television in Iran. The song Pungi Baja De was being aired. On listening to the song, the band realised that the initial portion of the song is lifted without any change from the title song of their album," the notice claims.

According to the notice, the band is the owner of the copyright of the song Soosan Khanoom which is registered under the Copyright Act in Canada on June 30 last year and hence the music of the song cannot be used without the band's permission.

Soon after learning about the copyright infringement the band sent their representative Nargis Kazerooni to India to initiate legal action.

Apart from music director Pritam, the notice has also been served to Eros International Media, Illuminati Films Private Ltd and Super Cassettes Ltd.

Dhanush to step into Bollywood

Sonam Kapoor has been confirmed as the leading lady opposite Dhanush in the actor's Bollywood debut movie Raanjhnaa by the director Aanand L Rai. The delhi6 actress is seen as a Varanasi girl who pursues her gradation in the Jawaharlal Nehru University in the capital city.

Earlier there were date issues for Sonam to sign the project, but now everything has been cleared and she is ready to romance Kolaveri star, Dhanush in his debut Hindi movie. It is head that the film will showcase the actress in different looks from 17-25 years.

Dhanush who has become house hold name with the popular Kolaveri song is currently in Mumbai to dub his 3 movie to Hindi version. The respective film directed by wife of Dhanush has Sruthi Hassan as love interest of the Actor.
