If rumors are to be believed, the most ambitious project from the Yash Raj Films banner currently, starring Shahrukh Khan,Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, has been titled Yeh Kahan Aagaye Hum according to sources. Apparently, Yash Raj himself has come up with the title for the film which marks his comeback as a director after 8 years. His last film as a director was Veer Zara which was a romantic blockbuster which showed its magic at the box-office by being a commercial success.
The importance of this project to Yash Raj can be determined with the fact that the whole team of the Yash Raj Banner was working since past 7 months to decide upon the title for the film without any success. Initially the name London Ishq was being considered after which Jai followed. So why did Yash Raj zoom in on the name ‘Yeh Kahaan…’? Apparently to connect with his 1981 blockbuster and to date his most successful romantic film SILSILA. With Silsila, the director Yash Raj had tried to show the real lifesituation of the superstar Amitabh Bachahan and he was successful in his attempt to glorify it on the silver screen.
The banner hits two birds with one stone by naming the project ‘Yeh Kahaan ..’ – to make the Silsila connect and secondly,to maintain the curiosity within the minds of the audience for the film.
We will have to wait and watch if the connection with Silsila proves to be at a deeper level by showing the makers the same success that Silsila had at the Box office.
